Facet Joint Arthropathy

Symptoms Can Include:

  • Lumbar or cervical pain

  • numbing

  • muscle weakness

Relationship to Body Structure and Behavior:

Each spine has two upper and tow lower facets with a large innervation just of spinal cord.

Tightening of those joints to connect spines will be critical for force spread

ES and PS contraction with other torso muscles contractions will contribute to the stabilization of the spinal column

Lack of proper contractions of torso muscles will lead to an excessive force accumulation at facet joints leading to arthritic changes

If the large nerves to facet joints are positions sensors from the spinal column, then the facet joint arthropathy will indicate imbalance and gait disturbance

Suggestions for Prevention:
While walking, bend your knees, lift your knees and put your head down.
In any sports, players bend their knees to control the force distribution and balance. Why not when we walk? From pavement.
Arm swing will help tighten lumbar spines during walking.
